I've decided I can't write to a title. I become blocked in my thinking too quickly. I'll go in and add a title to this after the fact based on what I end up writing. Hello, dear reader. What brings you here? If you even exist. I hope you exist. Though I suppose the spirit of a blog is that I don't know who's reading it, if anyone at all. It's quite scary, to put something out to the public like this. As a matter of fact I was originally going to have this blog be hosted on a server where I could write a program to authenticate requests, so I would know everyone who had access to the blog, or at least know the username they gave me. I was talked out of this. I intend to publish something here daily. Whether it be miscellaneous thoughts from the day or incoherent ramblings from a mental state heretofore not seen something will be published. I suppose today I can talk about the process of setting up this website. After I was convinced to make my blog public, I switched to github pages to host it. I copied and modified a stylesheet from one of my other projects and changed the color scheme to something I thought more befitting of a blog. Someday I may return to using a server, not to make users authenticate but to allow people to post comments on these posts. It's not a plan that's currently in the works though. This is the 1.0 version of this website. What might be in the works sooner is switching to a server to generate the homepage dynamically instead of adding each blog to it, but there is also no plan to do that as of right now. I bought lunablog.uk for this. Could I have come up with a more inventive name? Probably. It was quite a cheap domain, I could change it at any point really. I'm okay with it though. In terms of my current plans for the website, daily blogs is going to be the top priority. I have some ideas of what to talk about: - A game I have currently in the works called Astrostead - Ramblings about whatever I'm doing at university - Existential posting so I think I'm covered. I guess we'll see what happens.
